Cobalt Crust Coring Unit

Wassoc engineered a compact coring system to integrate with NiGK Oceans’ newest lander drill. The coring unit was optimized for cobalt crust and capable of taking multiple samples per dive.

Pioneers in Seafloor Lander Drills

One of our first lander drills in the late ’90s used conventional coring and was successfully deployed to depths exceeding 5000m—foundations for today’s lander drill systems.

A Legacy of Side-Scan Survey

From WWII wrecks to cable-route and pipeline surveys, Wassoc helped advance subsea acoustics across decades.

Wassoc's subsea lander drill utilizing wireline coring technology suspended by crane over water during test deployment

Subsea Wireline Coring

An industry-first wireline lander drill delivers efficient operations and hole depths exceeding 50m.

Wassoc Cone Penetration Test integrated onto client's subsea lander being deployed in water for test

Coiled-Rod CPT

Wassoc designed and built an innovative coiled-rod CPT system for NiGK Oceans’ CPT Lander, enabling rapid, repeatable seabed cone penetrometer testing.
