ARC: Autonomous Recording Camera

The ARC (Autonomous Recording Camera) is a full ocean rated, stand-alone, subsea imaging system. Powered by an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery, the ARC can be programmed for a wide variety of subsea imaging missions. Paired with Wassoc's Subsea LED Light, the ARC can autonomously illuminate and capture HD footage and imagery in ocean depths up to 6000m.

The ARC is charged and activated through a single subsea connector eliminating the need to open the housing during normal use. Once activated, the ARC performs the programmed sequence until it is de-activated, or the battery is depleted. Wireless programming and data download are accomplished through an intuitive browser-based GUI. In addition to autonomous operation, the ARC can interface with an external system via RS-232.
